Wiscomm @ International Wireless Communications Expo (IWCE)

The Wiscomm crew is heading out to Las Vegas on Tuesday afternoon to check out the 2011 International Wireless Communications Expo (IWCE). This is the largest convention for two-way communication products and accessories, we have some great meetings set-up with some new vendors and hope to be able announce some new product lines later this month.

While at the show we invite you to check out our Twitter feed @Wiscomm as we plan on providing updates and photos from the show floor.

During our absence we will slightly delayed in getting back to all the emails and phone calls, please be patient and we will get back to you just as soon as possible. Orders placed on shop.Wiscomm.com fromTuesday through Friday will start shipping on Saturday March 12th and Monday March 14th. Again we ask for you patience and we will quickly get your order processed.

Wiscomm Holiday Schedule 2010/2011

Wiscomm has a limited closure for this holiday season, we are expected to be closed on the following dates:

• Friday, December 24th
• Saturday, December 25th
• Sunday, December 26th
• Tuesday, December 28th - Wiscomm Inventory Day
• Friday, December 31st
• Saturday, January 1st - Go Badgers!
• Sunday, January 2nd

During this period all our online outlets will still be taking your order, but for shipping on days not listed above. ** If you have an emergency request during this period we will be able to accommodate your needs, please give us a call 866-579-1222 to discuss.

We are planning a HUGE 2011 and really can't wait for it start, it will truly be a breakout year for Wiscomm and all of us are honored to have you as a client.

Wiscomm CLOSED - DEC 31 - JAN 10 for Vacation

The crew from Wiscomm will on holiday from December 31st 2009 through January 10, 2010. We will resume shipping orders promptly on Monday January 11th 2010. We will have limited access to both voicemail and email during this period.

The programming cable, programming service and service manual departments are not affected by this closure.

Summer Holiday Vacation - July 21st - 26th, 2009

Just a friendly reminder that our annual Summer Holiday Vacation will be running July 21 through July 26, 2009. All orders placed during this period will ship promptly on Monday July 27th 2009 in the order they were received.

During this period we will be responding to all emails and messages, however the responses might be slightly delayed compared to our normal.

Cable & Programming Services - Closed June 26-July 1st

The cable and programming division of Wiscomm will be closed from Friday June 26th through Wednesday July 1st 2009 for a scheduled vacation. Orders placed during this period will be processed on Thursday July 2nd.

Wiscomm's 2009 Swapfest Schedule Announced

We have added one more stop to this years Hamfest/Swapfest schedule. We love attending these events and meeting with area hams, we are hams and this really where Wiscomm started by selling at the events. They are alot of work for Wiscomm, packing what now is a large rental truck and taking a nice portion of our inventory, you can usually get some incredible bargains as we likely do not want to haul this stuff back to our warehouse.

• Saturday - July 11th, 2009 - South Milwaukee ARC Swapfest - Oak Creek, WI - We love this outdoor fest, plus the free beer at Noon doesn't hurt either! We have been going to this fest since before we were hams. Great location just about five minutes off the freeway south of Milwaukee, WI. Details - Click Here!
• Saturday - August 15, 2009 - Racine Megacycle Club FREEfest - Sturtevant, WI - Heck we love anything FREE, plus as a favor to our almamater amateur radio club we are bringing our dog and pony show to this nice park-like setting south of Milwaukee. • Saturday / Sunday - September 12-13, 2009 - Chicago FM Club Radio Expo 2009 - Belevedere, IL - We used to attend this event every year when it was at the old Lake County fairgrounds, they moved a few years back and we hear the crowds moved with them. This indoor / outdoor event sounds like a blast (if it doesn't rain). Plus being the last Hamfestapolooza of the year you can only imagine the deals we will be ready to make! Details - Click Here!
